I love a good game night, and in order to have a good game night you have to have a good game. Sometimes that can be hard with a bigger (crazier) group of friends. We have had game nights in the past were it has taken us more time to explain the game and rules than it took us to play the game. Not fun!
I got a chance to host a game night for Tryazon with a new game from USAopoly. They are a leading developer and manufacturer of board games, collectibles, and puzzles. Their partners include marquee brands and licencors such as Disney, Nintendo, Warner Bros., Cartoon Network, HBO, FOX and CBS. Their 2009 release of Telestrations®, earned them the #1 Party Game by Board Game Geek, and since then they've kept growing with other award-winning games: Telestrations After Dark®, Harry Potter™ HOGWARTS BATTLE™, Tapple®, Rollers®, Nefarious™ The Mad Scientist Game, and many more.

Blank Slate is a fun and quick to learn game where you pick one of over 250 Word Cue cards (front and back with 500 total cues), write the word
you think best completes the phrase – and try to match it exactly to
another player’s word without giving a single hint. If you and only one other person get the same word then you both get 3 points, if more than two people guess the same word than each person gets 1 point. It's the game where BLANK minds think alike.
It sounds super simple at first but once you start playing it can actually get kind of hard. You want to be creative yet still have something someone else will get. Surprising Duck goes with a lot of phrases... We got together after dinner to play and we laughed a lot, threaten our spouses if they didn't get the word we had, and questioning each other when we had different answers. We played a few rounds and they can go pretty quickly or a bit longer just depending on how many players you have and how much you and the other players think alike. This game could be played in different ways and would be easy to change up the rules or adjust it to a specific topic or event.
Pretty sure this is when the card was Just___ and Ryan got ahead of himself and put League thinking of Justice League
I was the only one who didn't write down what everyone else wrote down and I had no idea what they were talking about... Maddison looked as shocked as I was about it.
All in all, we had lots of fun and played Blank Slate a few times this weekend when we had other family over. They all loved it as well. It's fun to play with a wide age range and see the difference in what each other writes. Thanks to Tryazon and USAopoly for letting us try this new fun game. If you'd like to get yourself a copy of the game you can visit your local Target or order it online here: https://www.target.com/p/blank-slate-board-game/-/A-53285639
Let me know in the comments below if you enjoy it as much as we did and be sure to take pictures and tag me in them.
Looks like fun. We will have to give this one a try.
