Crayola Glitter Dots Party
Nothing adds that little extra something better than Glitter!!! However nothing stays in your house and clings to every surface and stays for years and years to come better than Glitter! Crayola found a fun way to give you to joy and sparkle of adding glitter to your projects without all the mess!
Thanks to Tryazon and Crayola we were able to test out these fun new products before they launch this 2019 holiday season! They stick to virtually every surface and make clean up a breeze. We got to try out three products along with the glitter dots, Sparkle Signs, Sparkle Fills, and Keychains.
These packs give everything that our kids love! They have adorable templates, glitter, key chains to put on those new back to school bags, and cute signs to hang around the house. They also come with everything that moms love, minimum clean up and maximum fun! They entertained the kids for a long time and the moms not only got the satisfaction of entertained kids but joy of knowing that all the glitter was staying on the projects and not on their hands and other household items.
The Sparkle Fill was probably the lowest on the list, it was the hardest for the kids to work with and get just right. The dots moved around a bit when being squashed and sometimes came off if you tried to smear them on the surface, so there was a learning curve for the kids to get used to working with the dots and squashing them onto the boards. The boards did come with little stands to put at the bottom so that you can display them when you are done. One mom thought it would be a good idea to have magnetic backs so that you could just stick them to the fridge. The glitter did stay on and in place after the kids were done and even the ones that had large amounts of glitter dots barely squished around did not fall off once they laid them out to dry.
Our group was a bit on the younger side so I'd say these work best with older kids. They come with a neat little tool to help smush and cut the glitter and keep it within the boarders.
The next product was the Sparkle Signs, and these are a great mix of coloring and glitter dot fun! We really enjoyed these because it seemed to be easier to keep the glitter in the areas that it was supposed to go and added a really nice pop to a traditional colored picture. I feel like glitter is a girly product but our boys had a great time using these and I'd like to see Crayola come out with some more boyish styles on the designs, such as vehicles and dinosaurs. Honestly who doesn't love dinosaurs so I vote they should come out with some dino designs either way!
They also came with sparkly sting to use to hang them up once we were all done coloring and glittering them up.
Our favorite had to be the Keychains! They were so fun and relaxing to do, even as an adult these things were cute and fun! We had lots of fun laughing and talking while working on them and filling them in with glitter dots. Once we were done we got to add beads and put them on our keychains and bags and now it's easy to stand out and spot our stuff.
If you are looking for a fun new way to add some sparkle to your life I'd definitely recommend giving these a try.
